What is Monthly and Daily Reach of a blog?
Your "reach" is the measurement of the total unique visitors myScoop has tracked on your blog versus the total unique visitors tracked throughout all the blogs registered on myScoop. Therefore the percentage shown is a representation of the total uniue visitors your site is receiving in relation to the total amount of visitors myScoop has recorded for all blogs registered with myScoop. Each unique visitor represents a unique IP address.
Formula: Reach = your unique visitors / total unique visitors tracked on all registered blogs

How is the "Top User Engaged Blogs" section calculated?
myScoop runs through each blog and checks how many comments that particular blog has received in the passed 168 hours (exactly 7 days). It then checks how many articles have been posted in that time. Once those numbers have been calculated, myScoop then divides the amount of comments by the amount of articles to get the "user-engagement ratio"
Formula: User-engagement Ratio = Total comments in 7 days / Total articles in 7 days
How is the "State of the Blogosphere" calculated?
The state of the blogosphere analysis gives you information on how "active" the blogosphere is, both currently and historicaly.
"On Fire" blogs are blogs that average 10 or more article postings a week.
"Hot" blogs are blogs that average between 5 and 9.99 article postings a week.
"Active" blogs are blogs that average between 0.5 and 5 article postings a week.
"Inactive" blogs are blogs that average 1 article posting every 2 to 6 weeks.
"Dead" blogs are blogs that average less than 1 article every 6 weeks.
These stats are calculated using the date of the first article that myScoop has fetched for the particular blog and divides it by the total amount of days between that date and today.
Formula: Blog Active Rate = Total articles / (difference(today - date of first post) / 7)
